Ever been to a speed shop for a dyno run, and they bump you from the dyno to fit someone in who has spent 10 grand in the shop on performance upgrades? Ever felt like you were a second-class citizen because you want modest performance gains from your daily driver but local shops try to give you the upsell on everything from intakes to exhausts to cams? Ever try to find a dyno shop willing to let you have the run of the dyno for your own tuning, only to find they charge you for a tune whether or not you use their in-house tuning guy? Ever felt underwhelmed by a custom mail-order tune?
If so, then welcome to ExaTorq, where
performance for the common man means treating each and every customer with respect, whether you're looking to get the most out of your daily driver the way it was meant to be, or looking for a top-performance tune for your new blower.
ExaTorq specializes in tuning for
GM vehicles, from OBD-I through the latest 2011 models, and
Dodge CMR tuning for many 2003-2011 Dodge, Chrysler, and Jeep applications. We have hundreds of tunes and dyno runs under our belt. Brian Sailor is our in-house expert on all things Mopar, and brings many years of certified automotive experience to the table. We also collaborate with Lyndon Wester on many of our GM tunes, bringing over 20 years of tuning experience to each and every tune we sell. Whether you're looking for more performance out of your daily driver or need a tune for your latest project, we're here to help.
ExaTorq Tuning and Performance (formerly Westers Custom Tuning) has provided GM custom performance tuning services to hundreds of customers throughout the world. Established in 2004, ExaTorq was our response to the many local shops who simply don't want to give us the time of day unless we drove in with a 500+HP monster. We cater to individuals who seek performance but do no necessarily eat, sleep, and drain the checking account on performance. Your stock vehicle is as welcome on our dyno as one that's been heavily modified, and we will spend just as much time with you. We like to think of ExaTorq as
performance for the common man. Whether you order a tune online with us, or stop by the shop for your tune, or just call with questions, we will always make the time to work with you.
You might notice that our shop hours are "by appointment only." This is because, like many of you, we have families that depend upon our ability to provide a steady income, health insurance, and retirement. As much as we would enjoy operating ExaTorq as a full-time endeavor, the current anti-small-business climate simply doesn't make that possible at the moment. So, like many tuners, we choose to do the things we enjoy and are good at on a part-time basis (in this case, automotive technology) while holding down full-time employment in other fields. One of the advantages of owning a part-time business is that we can offer evening and weekend hours.
