The ScanGauge II interfaces with the vast majority of OBD-2 vehicles. In addition to the
compatibility list provided by Linear-Logic, the following vehicle compatibility issues have also been reported by our customers:
- Early 1995 Toyota Land Cruiser Some early 1995 models were still equipped with OBD-1 computers, making them incompatible with the ScanGauge II (and any other OBD-2 scanner). Check the emissions decal under the hood to determine if your vehicle is OBD-1 or OBD-2 compliant.
- Diesel "pushers" and semis Most of these vehicles are equipped with a round J1939 data port under the dash and are not OBD-2 compatible. A J1939 to J1850 (OBD-2) adapter will not work with the ScanGauge II!
